Last post e.e

 

Hello classmates, today I will write about the English class in general, and this will be finally the last post, so I am very happy because I started to get a little tired of this.

I think that the use of blogs is a good method to improve in this language because we learn how to express our ideas properly. But being really honest I must admit that I don’t like have to have a obligatory subject of this, because I think that we lose a lot time that we could spend in our workshop in something that is not related directly to our carer.

This would be perfectly a CFG or an extension class to the one who like it.

Since I started this subject in the beginning of this year I think that I have improved a little, but the most of what I know is thanks to the listening in the movies.

My English is basic, but I don’t think that I would need more than this because I already know the enough to understand the most of what read. Writhe grammatically correct is another story, but I don’t think that I will need it, and I will continue improving passively while I listen to movies in English.

Outside the class I use the English in some things on the computer, like pc programs or games. The most of the time I use it to understand the songs that I like, without the necessity to watch it on the internet. But I don’t that I will use it in my artist life.

Free post 9- my holiday

 
Hello, today I will talk to you about my holiday on the past free week, because of Halloween.We decide long time ago in my family to travel to some place on those 5 days that we have, first we think in travel to the south of Chile, but then we realize that, for our surprise, we have enough money to do something bigger, so we go to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I was very excited because I had never traveled to Argentina before.When we arrive to the airport, I realize that I have lost the memory of my camera and  I fell very sad about that, but then luckily we discovered that in the airport they have a sell point where I can get a new one. I will let you a picture that I took from the airplane. :)

In the fly we had a lot of turbulence, so I spend a bad moment. But since the moment we arrive everything went fine.

 The first thing that called my attention there was that the street where very clean. And there are not homeless dogs, in difference of my country.I confirm that the books where a lot more cheaper; you will find places with similar prices to San Diego in Chile, and places where there are really cheap prices; I bought 11 books of art in only 20.000 Chilean pesos, that was a blessing for me.

Blog Session 8 How green are you?

Hello class.

Today I will writhe my opinion about the environment context in our country.

I will start talking of the roots of this problem (yes, a problem), In this country  we have not a properly education in the schools about been environmentally friendly. The schools doesn´t encourage to recycle or take care of not produce garbage. The few that I know and practice I learned in my house, thanks to my parents.
In my house we used to separate the different kind of products, and then we go to a recycling point in the tottus supermarket, because of the lack of recycling places in the city. I think that a important point, like I said before, is not produce unnecessary garbage, utilize the thing the most possible, including the plastic bags.
Well, I utilize my legs or bike when the distances are shorts, until 3 station of meter. I do that because I am poor jajaja, but at the same time I am helping to reduce my carbon footprint.
Well, finishing this topic I will mention that the last week I went to Argentina for the first time and they, and in my opinion, they are much more evolved that us in the environment things, they don´t  give plastic bags in all the  purchase like here, you have to ask for it, and in the streets there are not garbage at all, also you could found a dump in any corner in difference of Chile, where some times is difficult to find a place where to put the garbage. Sometimes even in the Parks there are not a single dump, and that is a serious problem in our community.

Blog session 7 free post 3, a short film

Hello again! J

Because I don´t even know what writhe when the post is free, I will write to you again about the first thing that comes to my mind.

I want to show you, and write to you about a short film that I saw the another day when I was channel-surfing, it’s called “21 sparrows” or “ un padre un hijo y un gorrion”,it really touch my heart, especially because I think in my grandfather that have Alzheimer when I see to the old man of the history, and in my fathers. I will not tell you about what is the history about, because I prefer that you see it first. But I would like if you post me a comment after you see it, telling me what your appreciation is.  When I see it I felt very sad, and worried about what I am giving to my fathers in gratitude to all that they have giving to me in my infancy. And also makes me reflect about that sometimes we lost our minds in stupid things, or loss the patience and hurts to people that love us so much.

This article talk about the life of Marina Abramovic, the pioneer of the performance art in the 70´s. “The exciting thing about Abramovic is that she makes art into life and life into art”.

 She make´s art that is  directly emotional. she is known by performances like “ rhythm 0”, when she expose her body to the free disposition of the public, and “AAA AAA” a irreverent  work were she works with Ulay.

Here I will give you a link  about one of his contemporary works. Hello, I decide to talk to you about my school trip.

When I was in the last year in the school we decide to make  a trip to some interesting place, to finish the year and the academic  process of a good way. We save money along all the last 2 years making events, like partys, and selling hot dogs to save enought money.

When we have the money in our hand we decide to go to brazil! Wish was a wonderful choice, because we all spend an unbelievable week.

We spend our time in Florianopolis, a touristic city in the coast. When we was in there, the first thing that we realize was that the weather was too much wet and warm, we regularly used to take a shower 3 times in a day :O. Unfortunately we didn´t have the chance to share with the people , so I didn´t have a complex opinion about them, but I can said that the street people seems more relaxed and happy than in our country. And also they usually ( the mens) walk in the street without  any shirt, wish could be strange in our country.

A thing that annoy me was that the bugs where too big!! The moths were 3 times more bigger and they scared me a lot.

4.- Free post. unfinished projects

The first thing that comes to my head was the unfinished projects that I started once, but I doesn´t  finish because of the time, or the money. That was a terrible topic but I don´t care.

I have always been attracted by sports, and especially by the martial arts, so when I was in the school I signed up  in the first thing that come to me. So I enter to a kung fu class… In a beginning that was funny, but soon I started to think that the classes where too infantile. The next year I was attracted by Aikido and I last a lot of years, but because of the money I was not able to go anymore.

In one moment I was passionate by the music so I learned guitar, but after a few years I throw it away. The same happens to me with the charango, and the accordion. I hope that this doesn´t happened to me with the arts. D:

But not everything was bad, because Now, that I have more time for myself I started to work in a bookshop and I collect enough money to buy a Tatto machine by myself. So I hope that now I will be able to dedicate to one of the things that I always wanted.

 Writing this I realize thing about myself that I ignored before. I think that finally, is a good thing writhe about ourselfs.

Blog Session 3 A country I would like to visit

Hello again,, today i will try to explain wish country I would like to visit.

Being honestly I don´t have a specific place where I want to go, but one thing that I definitely like is know new natural places where to walk and relax. I went one time to brazil by a school trip, but I must admit that theyr forest scared me a Little because they have a lot of big and strange insect that make me nervious.

I like a lot the south of chile because of his wet weather, and also because the people are very “warm-hearted”.

I think if in this moment I must choose a country. I would say Japan beacuse there are a lot of mystic places in harmony  with the nature. Like the zen gardens, or the Meditation monasterys.

Ocassionaly i would like to live in there some time to learn about their culture, I think that I could have a food shop with chilean food and in my free time I would make art. That would be very nice. But like I said before I am free to experience a trip to any place  where I can found a Little of peace.

 

Blog Session 2 My ideal job

My ideal job, I think that definitely must be “ inspector of potato chips”. The name of this job is very weird but it really exist, and this is based mainly in supervising in a factory, seeking for the perfect potatoes. Tearing them apart when they are too fried, or those that lack fried.

I must admit that this is a very monotone and boring job, but I would like it if I could work in it a few hours a day, like a part time job. It´s known that a monotone job for too much time could drive anyone crazy, and I don´t want that.

A advantage of this job is that I could ate all the potatoes chips that I want, and I must admit that I really love them, In fact the the other day I create a new flavor of “pebre”, and I take them to my girlfriends house, where they where very well received.

Blog Session 1 Last Semester

During the  last semester I learned a few things  about "Grabado",  A technique of printing, that  allows you to make a matrix, in a piece of metal, of a draw  that can be reproduced a lot of  times.
For my was a very exciting moment, the first time that I made a print of my creation.
The rest of the semester I learn deeper the painting technique.

Well... In the sports I haven´t do  anything this year, I used to do running, or aikido, but I have been a Little lazzy and I don´t have much time now.

A challenge this  year will be finishing all  the clases that I reproved the past years, without making a new year in the University.
